Seasonal Goals|Summer 2017

FullSizeRender-28-05-17-12-36It’s that time of year where I sit down and natter on to you all about all my hopes and dreams for the next three months- my seasonal goals have arrived! It’s CRAZY to think that I wrote my first ever ‘seasonal goals’ this time last year (HERE) and the fact I was looking forward to so many different things…and now everything is SO different! So, here’s a few things I hope to achieve this summer…

EXAMS (EW)

Every single season, I inevitably have some sort of aim surrounded around school (because it, unfortunately, likes to take over my life!). But for Summer, it’s especially important as it’s exam season. I am currently in the middle of my AS exams so I’m working away at them- this time last year I was in the middle of my GCSES! They thankfully went amazingly, so fingers crossed that these exams go the same way as I will be revising a lot this Summer- as well as getting the results!

GET WORKIN’

In my Winter Goals, I made it my mission to find myself a job- AND YOUR GAL FOUND ONE! For the past month, I have been working at a large cafe in my local garden centre. I have been enjoying it SO MUCH as it’s so fun to get out working and making some money- and also getting FREE CAKE! As I have a hell of a long time off school, I plan to 100% work more often to get a bit more dollaaaa for birthdays and particularly Christmas! As I now have more money, I’ll be able to spend more on the ones I love which I’m so excited for!!

MAKE USE OF THE SUMMER HOLS

As I mentioned, I get a long time off school (to be fair I NEED it haha!) but I really want to make use of that time! Last summer, I practically relaxed for the whole three months which was fab, but this year I want to be different. Alongside working, I plan to really work on my blog which I am guilty of neglecting a little due to exams! I also have a work placement at The Blogger Programme which is a company I’ve worked with myself as a blogger, so I’m PUMPED to be getting some work experience this Summer with them!

SUMMER SKIN

I am literally the palest of the pale, I sadly do not tan AT ALL, despite being in the sun all day long. So, although the summer sun will be shining, I plan on achieving a tan a different way. This Summer I plan to test out a few tanning products as I really am not a fan of fake tan, so I plan to endeavour down the tinted moisturiser route. I’ve been testing it for the past few days and I’m LUVING it- so I’ll keep you all updated! I also want to sort out my skin just in general, I have been drinking SO MUCH water recently and have noticed a massive difference…so let’s pray I get perfect skin soon enough! (yeah, in ur dreams Tash).

SO, there are a few aims I have for this Summer! I don’t know about you, but I’m ECSTATIC for Summer. As much as I LUV Autumn and Winter, I am so incredibly happy to see the sun every day and whip out my summer dresses!

  1. I hope your exams go well! I’m in the middle of my GCSEs at the moment and I’m not enjoying them at all- I think it would be a bit weird if I was really enjoying them! I also want a job because I want to get my friends amazing presents for their birthdays but it’s so expensize. Plus I want to do a bit of shopping!
Don’t worry about neglecting your blog, I think most people have been in the last few weeks because of exams. I’m starting up blogging again on Thursday so that’s exciting!
